Feature request: Admin notifications when comments are submitted. Often users will ask a new or followup question as a comment. Unless you're browsing pending submissions daily, there's no way to know there's something to respond too!

Hi there,

Comment notifications actually occur for any question for Admins, not just one's own question. As an Admin of this hub, I just received email notifications of your comments here.

As for comments disappearing at some point, I'm afraid we haven't seen that happen. You can look at some posts in this hub and see that comments still exist from years ago. And of course as a SaaS solution, all hubs work the same way.

Notifications can be set as Instant, Daily or Never, as you can see in the screen shot above. As far as I know Instant really means instant, depending of course your internet speed and other external factors. As soon as I hit Submit for my replies above, I got email notifications of the additions instantly. This is the same for the other hubs where i am an Admin.

As for line breaks, they work in questions and in answers, as you can see here, but not in comments which are designed for quick and simple response.

Please allow me to check on email notifications for comments on questions or answers that an Admin has not participated in.

That's close but not quite it.  That option controls notifications for comments related to MY question.

But as admin, I should be able to setup notifications for ANY comments ANYWHERE to help monitor the site content.

Thanks,

T

Actually, under Settings > Notifications, you can set your hub to notify you when comments are submitted :
